The content of this website is almost entirely written byme, 301Chimney CEO Dave Myers — on weekends or in the evening  with little or no reference material.  I post information regularly, as I have time.

I am disclosing 36 years of knowledge gained the hard way, through 36 years of hard work. You may want to send a link to your friends or mention the 301Chimney website to them so they can take a look at this site to see if there’s information that might find to be of use.

What differentiates both this site and this organization from others, is that I will disclose to you, everything. The best buy for the money, the pros and cons of various products and procedures, sales tactics I agree with and those I disagree with, false and accurate product claims and inexpensive products that work better than more expensive ones. Virtually everything I can think of that might assist you will be posted herein. 

You will be able to evaluate your individual situation and decide what best suits your needs. You will know when you are being mislead, intentionally or otherwise. I will even post installation tips on various products you may wish to install yourself.

My hope is that because of the wealth of  unbiased information posted in this site, thousands of homeowners and even less experienced chimney sweeps will learn what I have learned in a fraction of the time it ttok me to learn these things. And I hope that this information will spread rapidly and that the chimney industry will find itself gravitating more in the direction of outstanding service and less in the direction of simply increasing gross sales.
